EmailGrants Privacy Policy

01What We Collect

Account information: your email address, and (if provided) your first and last name.

Subscription and billing information: handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We receive confirmation of successful payment and limited billing metadata; we do not store your full card number.

Intake questionnaire responses: information you provide about your work, organization, funding needs, budget, and track record, used to match you with relevant opportunities. This includes two optional questions about identity (e.g., whether you or your leadership identify with groups for whom certain funding is specifically set aside) and who your work serves.

Lead information: if you begin the signup process but do not complete payment, we retain the email address you provided so that we may follow up about completing your subscription.

02How We Use Your Information

• To match you with relevant grant and funding opportunities and deliver those matches to you by email.
• To create and manage your account and process your subscription.
• To send you service-related communications (e.g., your sign-in link, billing confirmations).
• To follow up with you if you began signing up but did not complete your subscription.
• To improve the accuracy of our matching over time.

03How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate EmailGrants:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Supabase — account authentication and database hosting
• Resend — delivering your matched-opportunity emails and account communications

Relationship to WinGrants: Your EmailGrants account and WinGrants account, if you have or later create one, remain separate and are not automatically linked. If a future feature offers to use your EmailGrants information to help set up a WinGrants account, that will be clearly presented to you as an explicit choice at the time, not done automatically or without your knowledge.

We do not share your identity-related responses (Section 1) with any party for any purpose, including funders, other users, or WinGrants.

04Data Retention

We retain your account and questionnaire information for as long as your subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to allow you to resume service or as required for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 6).

05Your Rights

You may:

• Access and review the information associated with your account.
• Correct or update your questionnaire responses at any time.
• Unsubscribe from weekly match emails (a functioning unsubscribe link is included in every email we send).
• Cancel your subscription at any time.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting hello@wingrants.io.

06Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including encrypted data storage and passwordless authentication to reduce the risk of compromised credentials. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

07Children's Privacy

EmailGrants is not directed at or intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

08Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers of material changes.
